Maybe next year
As things stand the whole trip fell through the sieve of time...
I am on my way To Argentina this year and will persue the matter when I get back from chasing after glass skulls and Lamas across the pampas in buses and hopefully at least once on a DS bike.

Warning Orders
Loftie started it all by suggesting the following;
Hi Everybody, why do we not arrange a 5 day tour of the ops area and visit all the interesting places. How difficult can it be to take
monday to Friday off, add the 2 weekends, I will arrange transport and we all get together at one point eg. Windhoek. We
travel from there to SWASPES in Otavi's old base, To Oshivello, quick tour of Omuthia, Okatope and on to Ondangwa. Turn right
through Oshigambo, Oom Willie se pad and on to Eenhana. We can travel the Chandelier see nKongo, Iilundu and Hurricane. We
can actually have a braai on the Yati.... How's that. No need to look over your shoulder while tanning a steak. And travel
back on memory's lane. Walk across the cutline, and the Northern most edge of the Yati and touch Angolan soil...... We can take some lekker pics and see what's left of what was once the mightiest Army in Africa, and to my opinion the World.
No use having smart bombs and cruise missiles if you still have to use South Africans in Basrah to do all the hot spot VIP
transports cause your Delta Force and Ranger Dudes have the best equipment, but the ball size is a problem.. That's another story alltogether....
Then the second offer came...
Back to the bikes, I am hereby undertaking to give anybody that has the balls to get to Walvis Bay a free Tour as you have never seen before,
yep free of charge, and a lekker party afterwards. And by the way, all the afdakkies and braai areas at Dune 7 was erected by
2 SAI which makes my mail a Military related subject. You are also allowed to wear Bushjackets or any SADF related clothing
while doing the tour, so let's see who will pitch up. C'mon guys, it's only 1600 k's for the Jo'burgers..... Show me what spirit you have...
So the idea was born.
